Zyaire Hill Death – The juvenile victim of a gunshot that occurred on United States Highway 431 on Sunday afternoon has been identified by the Barbour County Coroner’s Office. The victim was 15 years old when driving. It has been reported by Deputy Coroner Bradley Green that Zyaire Kayon Hill, who was 15 years old and from Eufaula, Alabama, passed away after being shot once. According to Green, Hill was sitting in the front passenger seat of a vehicle when a bullet entered through the driving side glass of the back of the vehicle.
The medical staff at Medical Centre Barbour confirmed Hill’s passing at 3:52 p.m. on that particular Sunday. In the aftermath of a tragic shooting that occurred on Sunday afternoon, the Eufaula City Schools have decided to cancel all extracurricular activities and classes for Monday. An official statement has not been issued by the Eufaula Police Department in relation to the shooting that occurred on Sunday.
However, reports have asserted that a person under the age of 21 was taken to the Eufaula Hospital suffering from gunshot wounds and ultimately passed away. It has also been reported that the hospital went into lockdown as a result of this event, and the authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the matter.
If any students or staff members would like to obtain counselling services, the school system has requested that they contact their local school or their mental health coordinator, Rasheema Warren, at the number 334-695-3650. This request was made in a message that was published on Facebook by the school system.
Zyaire Hill’s obituary and funeral arrangements will be released by the family at a date.
