It was disclosed on Monday by the San Jose police department that the two people who were discovered dead inside a residence in the city on Friday were a young boy and his great-grandmother. Both of the victims had been stabbed to death. According to the police, officers responded to a home on the 1600 block of Parkmoor Avenue about 10 a.m. on Friday to conduct a welfare check on the occupants inside.

According to the authorities, when officers arrived, each victim had at least one stab wound and was suffering from their injuries. They were pronounced dead at the spot. The incident is being investigated by the authorities as a possible double homicide; if confirmed, it will be San Jose’s 23rd and 24th homicide of 2018.

After the identities of the victims have been confirmed and their next of kin have been notified, the identities of the victims will be made public. The inquiry into the incident’s cause as well as the circumstances surrounding it will continue.

Officer Steve Aponte of the San Jose Police Department stated that “this is a very shocking and tragic incident that we are investigating right now.” “We hope that with more input from the public, we can come to a judgment that is sensible. We are requesting that anyone who may have been in the vicinity at the time in question, as well as anyone who may have cameras located in the area, come forward and bring that video.
