According to information, the accident happened on Saturday 10th June 2023. He was confirmed dead through a Facebook post made by Sutherland Automotive Speedway that says ”
Dear racing community,It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of one of our own. Heaven has gained another race car angel, and our thoughts and prayers go out to the Kel-Cor Racing team during this difficult time”.
Who was Wyatt Ewen?
Wyatt was an intelligent young boy with an endearing smile, never failed to extend his kindness and generosity to others without expecting anything in return. Wyatt was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets 574 Dakota Squadron and had a passion for racing with Kel-Cor Racing in the street stock division. He was a genuinely modest person first and foremost. His warm disposition was another distinguishing feature of his character. Off the track, he maintains a reputation for being friendly and easy to talk to. He has an uncanny ability to put others at ease, be it a competitors, teammates, or fans.
The racing community as a whole loves him for his upbeat demeanor and contagious grin. Wyatt has a laid-back personality and a lot of patience to boot. This quality was essential for every racer because it helps them maintain composure and concentration even when the stakes are high. Wyatt’s cool demeanor in the face of adversity has earned him widespread acclaim. In order to reach his objectives, he was always prepared to put in long hours and keep going no matter how tough things get.
