Will Shields Death -Will Shields, a resident of Atlanta, Georgia, and a National Sales Manager at Effectv has sadly passed away. He was 51 years the time of his death. He was announced dead through a social media publication that read “The word “friend” often gets thrown around by people when describing someone they know, someone who they used to know or someone who they occasionally talk to. Will Shields was not just my friend. He was not just my fraternity brother. He was so much more.”

Who was Will Shields?

Beloved as a husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend, William Paul Shield was also a son. He hails from Atlanta, went to North Springs High School, and earned a bachelor’s degree in consumer journalism from the University of Georgia. He went on a date to the Auburn football game as a TEP fraternity pledge, and that event profoundly altered his course in life. Although the Bulldogs prevailed that day, Will’s 25-year wife Susan stole his heart.

Throughout his career in media sales, Will worked with well-known organizations like iHeart Media, Comcast, and ClearChannel. He held the position of National Sales Manager at Effectv at the time of his death. Having been a member of Temple Beth Tikvah for twenty years, Will headed Backpack Buddies and was on the board. Will gave his friends and family his all because he had a unique perspective on the value of relationships.

His pride and joy were his children, Margot and Brody. He was the first to offer a toast and crack a joke, an industrious host and grill master. His humility, his loyalty to friends and family, and his unwavering kindness to everyone will be strongly felt and cherished memories of him. Consistent with his magnanimous nature, his ultimate act of compassion was his decision to donate several organs.
