Whitney Vaughn Death – Whitney Vaughan has passed away following a fatal motor vehicle accident. According to Northlake Church, Whitney was on her way home from orientation at Tarleton State University. Whitney graduated from Lago Vista High School. She was involved in the student ministry, backyard bible club, and gave her life to Christ at FUGE Camp last summer.

Northlake Church are gathering this evening Aug. 9th at 7pm at the PAC. It will be a place for the community to grieve together, pray together, and seek God’s comfort together.

A single-vehicle rollover that occurred on Thursday near Lago Vista resulted in the death of one individual, according to Travis County Emergency Services District 1. The rollover occurred at eleven in the morning in the 19000 block of Farm-to-Market 1431, according to the officials. According to TCESD1, this was located in the City of Lago Vista close to FM1431 and Adrian Way.

According to the authorities, officers were sent to the 7500 block of Destination Way this morning soon after 9 a.m. after receiving reports of a collision at that location. When the police arrived, they discovered that a cement truck that had been driving in the opposite direction, toward the north, had flipped over.

Emergency personnel from Travis County Emergency Services District 1 were also dispatched to the scene of the collision. The motorist was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The investigation into what caused the collision is being conducted by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
