Webson Juste Death – Stateville Correctional Center employee Webson Juste of Joliet has sadly passed away. He died leaving family, friends and colleagues in shock. He was confirmed dead on Monday 14th August 2023 through a Facebook post that reads “We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our member Webson Juste from Stateville Correctional Center. We’d like to extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends, both blood and blue”.

He graduated from Niles North High School and proceeded to study at Joliet Junior College. He worked for Illinois Department of Corrections. He was a dedicated and committed man that was loved by many. Webson Juste’s exceptional display of compassion and empathy is key to his character. As a corrections officer, he knows that inmates, despite their circumstances, are still human beings who need respect and empathy. His ability to relate to inmates on a human level aids in their recovery and eventual readjustment to society after serving time.

Because of his compassionate personality, Juste has been able to assist make the prison a more pleasant place to be for everyone. It takes a strong person to work in a correctional facility because of the mental and emotional stress it can cause. His personality shines through in his unflappability in the face of adversity.

Whether he’s speaking with inmates or giving orders to his fellow police, he always manages to get his point across quickly and precisely. This talent improves security measures and helps create an environment where officers and convicts can appreciate one another. Webson Juste was known for his versatility and willingness to see things from many perspectives.

As a result of his adaptability, he was able to successfully deal with a wide range of situations, improving the overall efficiency of the prison. He appreciates the value of teamwork and cooperates effectively with others to keep the building running efficiently.
