Prayers are being requested for the family of American gospel music singer and Live Church Orlando pastor Thomas Tyrone “Tye” Tribbett who was involved in an accident this morning. According to reports, run of the Reunion tour. According to the family Pastor Tye Tribbett was rushed to the emergency ward with a “gnash” on his face.
Tye Tribbett was in an accident while making preparations for the West Coast. According to the story posted on Tye Tribbett’s official Instagram page, the doctor urged the singer to rest following medications which included stitching for the injuried cuts. The post reads;
“Earlier today, Tye was packing for the West Coast run of The Reunion tour, he got in an accident and suffered a gash to his face that resulted in him needing to get stitches. Although the doctor has requested for him to rest, Tye with the help of his wife Shanté Tribbett is still on his way to the West Coast in hopes that he feels well enough to perform.
The two-time Grammy Award winner was born in Camden, New Jersey, on January 26, 1976. In Camden, New Jersey, he grew up in an Apostolic Pentecostal church. His mother, Neicy Tribbett, is a minister in the Philadelphia and New York areas as well as a radio jockey. His father, Bishop Thomas Tyrone Tribbett, was a former pastor.
After touring with Faith Hill in 2000, he was hired by Will Smith, Usher, Justin Timberlake, Don Henley, and Sting. Since then, he has put out five albums. On August 6, 2013, the album “Greater Than” was released, and it brought him two Grammy honors. He published “The Bloody Win” in 2017. Pastors Tribbett and his spouse Shanté oversee the Live Church located in Orlando, Florida. Together, they are parents to two girls.
