TY Stroud Death – TY Stroud, a University of Colorado Boulder student was involved in a motor vehicle accident on Wednesday, January 3. The accident which was said to have been a DUI left Stroud with severe injuries. The details of the crash are still pending at this time.
At the time of this publication, there are claims that Stroud succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. These claims have not been confirmed by the authorities. On other news, an accident that occurred this morning between a vehicle and a pedestrian that resulted in the death of the pedestrian is being investigated by the Boulder Police Department.
On the morning of Wednesday, January 3, at about 9:18 a.m., police were dispatched to the junction of Broadway and Alpine Avenue in response to a report that a vehicle had struck a person. The driver of a 2022 Chrysler Pacifica was heading south on Broadway and turned left/east into Alpine when he collided with a woman who was crossing Alpine in the crosswalk and walking in the opposite direction.
Despite being rushed to the hospital with injuries that were considered to be life-threatening, the pedestrian, who was 90 years old, passed away this afternoon as a result of her injuries.
The female driver, who was 35 years old, did not sustain any injuries and remained at the site. Two of the youngsters who were in her car were not hurt. According to the early findings, there were no evidence that the driver’s speed or impairment played a role in the accident.
Identifying the victim and informing the next of kin will be the responsibility of the Boulder County Coroner’s Office.
