Trevor Freeman Death – University of Lethbridge Alumnus Trevor Freeman of Calgary, Alberta has sadly passed away On Friday 3rd November 2023. He died after a courageous battle with cancer leaving those that knew him heartbroken. He was confirmed dead through a Facebook post that reads “it is with profound sadness that we share the news of our dear friend Trevor Freeman’s passing. After a battle with cancer, Trevor left us on Friday night, November 3”.

Trevor Freeman Education

Trevor Freeman pursued his higher education at the University of Lethbridge from 1997 to 2001, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in Sculpting. Following his academic journey, he delved into the professional world, commencing his career as the Executive Director at Urban Society for Aboriginal Youth. Over a span of 5 years and 5 months, from November 2001 to March 2007, he shouldered the responsibilities of overseeing the entire spectrum of the organization’s management.

Subsequently, he transitioned to the role of Project Specialist at Wood & Associates Marcom INC, where he dedicated 2 years and 11 months, from March 2007 to January 2010, to managing client relationships, directing project development, and offering expertise in sales, marketing, and account management. His counsel extended to advising clients on various aspects such as proposal writing, organizational structure, and strategies for retaining funding.

Trevor Freeman Career

Continuing his journey, Trevor assumed the role of Housing/Events Coordinator at Mount Royal University for a duration of a year and 9 months, from May 2008 to January 2010. He then ventured into the role of a Community Analyst at Cenovus Energy, followed by a stint as the Executive Director at North Glenmore Park Community Association for 11 months, spanning from May 2012 to March 2013. This was followed by his tenure as an Account Manager at Polar Promotions & Sportswear for a year, from November 2015 to October 2016.

Furthermore, he served as a Key Account Sales personnel at Stoney Nakoda Resort & Casino. Trevor eventually embarked on an entrepreneurial journey, becoming the Owner and Director of Freeman Indigenous Consulting, where he contributed his knowledge and expertise to the field.
