According to reports, law enforcement agencies are responding to a report of a shooting inside the shopping mall located in the 2063 Town East Mall, Mesquite, Texas.

According to reports, the mall has been placed on an immediate lockdown by the responding law enforcement agencies. Officers with the Mesquite Police Department responded t reports of a shooting at the mall. Law enforcement agencies arrived at the business place and are currently searching for the shooter involved.

On Tuesday, a male individual from Maryland, who was being sought for an alleged attempted murder charge, sustained injuries after an apparent exchange of gunfire with U.S. Marshals in northern Virginia. Subsequently, the individual was apprehended and put into jail. According to the Alexandria police, an individual who was being sought by the U.S. Marshals Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force was observed on Tuesday at approximately 12:45 p.m. within the Potomac Yard retail complex located in the aforementioned city.

According to law enforcement officials, the individual in question was subjected to gunfire and subsequently sent to a medical facility due to severe injuries that posed a significant risk to their life. The news sites presented a visual recording of the incident, including a rapid succession of gunshots, individuals seeking shelter in a parking area, and vehicles displaying several perforations caused by bullets.

According to the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office in Maryland, the individual in question was being pursued in connection with a gunshot incident that occurred on Sunday evening in the vicinity of Unionville. The Alexandria police have indicated that their inquiry into the shooting incident remains in progress. The Marshals Service refrained from providing a response to an email inquiry requesting comment on Tuesday.
