The victim has been identified as Tou Ger Xiong. According to reports, Tou Ger Xiong, a resident of Minneapolis, Minnesota passed away tragically. He was a victim of a kidnapping and murder.

Tou Ger Xiong’s cause of death

Asian-American citizen Tou Ger Xiong, originally from Laos, was kidnapped and found dead in the La Corcovada ravine in Medellín, Colombia. The 50-year-old arrived in Medellín on November 29 for the holiday season and met a woman through social networks for a date.

After spending time together, he was kidnapped, and the kidnappers demanded $2,000 for his release. Despite efforts by his family and authorities, Xiong was murdered, with his body found in a wooded area with stab wounds and bruises.

Simultaneously, his belongings were stolen from his apartment. Investigations are underway to locate and apprehend the perpetrators of this tragic incident.

Obituary and Funeral arrangements for Tou Ger Xiong have not been made by the family.
