Tom Wallerstein Death – Thomas E. Wallerstein, a resident of San Francisco, California, and a well-known Business Litigation Attorney passed away on Friday, June 16th, 2023. He was confirmed dead by his longtime friend Deacon Trevor Fernandes on Monday, June 26th, 2023, through a social media publication that read “My high school friend and sometimes debate partner Tom Wallerstein passed away on 6/16/2023 peacefully. I don’t know any details. Please pray for his wife and kids. God rest his soul.”
Who was Tom Wallerstein?
Thomas E. Wallerstein was a high-stakes commercial litigator whose practice focuses on trade secrets and non-competes; intellectual property disputes; partnership, founder, and stock/equity disputes; and other complex commercial litigation. Tom routinely appears in court and has first-chair trial experience in state and federal courts in California, Delaware, and elsewhere.
He was also skilled at advocating for his clients in complex arbitration proceedings, as is evident from his leadership of a trial team that recently won an arbitration award in excess of $100 million. Tom began his career in Philadelphia working on a number of high-profile litigation matters, including representing two Philadelphia mayors and conducting a federal jury trial. He later joined a global litigation firm, where he served as lead attorney on a number of cases where the amount at stake reached tens of millions of dollars.
