Todd Romagna Death – Todd Romagna, a retired Seymour Police Detective has sadly passed away. Todd Romagna, a resident of Oxford, Connecticut died after a long and courageous battle with an illness. He was announced dead yesterday, the 16th of August 2023. by the Town of Seymour CT Police Department. He is survived by his wife, Bridget, daughter, Brittney, and son, Joe.

Detective Romagna will not only be missed greatly by his immediate family but he will also be greatly missed by his Seymour Police Department family (past and present). Our thoughts and prayers are with those who have been affected by his passing.

Who was Todd Romagna?

Detective Romagna embarked on his journey with the Seymour Police Department as a Supernumerary Officer back in 1995. Progressing through the ranks, he became a Full Time Officer in 1998, eventually achieving the esteemed position of Detective in 2013.

During his time on patrol, Detective Romagna played pivotal roles such as the department’s K9 Officer, Community Police Officer, and an integral member of the ESU unit. He possessed admirable qualities, and his colleagues found great satisfaction in collaborating with him. Detective Romagna garnered respect from everyone fortunate enough to cross paths with him.

His career path was adorned with a multitude of commendations, a testament to his dedication and prowess. Prior to joining the Seymour Police Department, Detective Romagna had a stint at the State of Connecticut’s Department of Corrections, adding a valuable dimension to his law enforcement experience.
