Such an important person in my early years as a karting photographer and reporter. A huge supporter, a great friend and an awesome human always willing to help anyone who needed it. Following a valiant fight with cancer, Todd Quinlan passed away at home in the company of his devoted family. The loss of Todd left so many people sad and devastated. A closed friend took to socail media shared the sad news in a statement that read “RIP : Todd Quinlan You were a great guy. You will be missed by all that knew you especially my husband Chris you were a great boss to him & a great friend.”
Who was Todd Quinlan?
Former PPKC Club member, Todd Quinlan was the inaugural PPKC President and an avid kart racing parent with his three boys, Grant, Calvin and Thomas “Tommy”. Todd was always happy to help out fellow racers and the Club in any way possible. Many people became lifetime friends because he consoled and encouraged them with his pleasant smile and attentive ear. Todd’s kindness, sense of humor, and knowledge made him a beloved presence in the lives of his family and friends.
Todd was a loving son of Tom Quinlan and the late Bonnie Quinlan and a dearest brother of Cheryl Mahon, Crystal Sylvestre, and Melissa Brindley. He was loved and cherished by his beloved Tracy Bickford and her sons, Matthew and Zachary Brown. Todd was the proud owner of Quinlan Inc. He grew the family business from humble beginnings and was proud to pass it on to the next generation.
Todd Quinlan’s obituary and funeral arrangements
At Todd’s request, cremation has taken place. Everyone is welcome for visitation at Reid Funeral Home, 87 Maidstone Ave. E., Essex (519-776-4233)on Sunday, December 17, 2023 from 12 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Visiting will continue on Monday, December 18, 2023 from 12-3. Todd preferred not to have a funeral service, but a funeral procession will leave from the funeral home at 3:15 pm for Todd’s final Victory Lap.
