Tim Waba Watertown SD Motorsports Racer died from cancer at age 62

Tim Waba Death: South Dakota racing communities are mourning the sudden death of a legendary member and father who passed away Monday. Tim Waba died after a long battle with cancer, a family member said. Tim was a well-respected motorsports racer and an active and highly regarded community member. Tim Waba was 62.

“The racing community lost another great one. Tim was one of the good ones. We will cherish all your shop visits for a lifetime! Continuing to keep the entire Waba family in our thoughts & prayers. Race on #50! You’ve crossed the finish line,” Good Motorsports wrote on their Facebook page.

Famous #50, Tim was a known name in the racing community. According to reports, Tim was diagnosed with cancer months ago. In early January, the racing community requested prayers for the impactful racer following his deteriorating condition. Condolences are now being sent to his remaining family members.

According to Tim’s friend Hoftiezer, he was a good friend and mentor. Tim was a great man who did anything for anybody with his big old smile on his face. This one hurts truly does he’s going to be missed by thousands of people.
