Tiansi Xin Death – Tiansi Xin, a Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) student from Cambridge, Massachusetts, has reportedly passed away, he was said to have died by suicide. The school have not released any official statement  regarding the incident.

It is known as the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, and it is the name of a nationwide network that connects people who make phone calls to one of the more than 200 crisis centers that can be found in the United States. Simply dialing 9-8-8 will put you in touch with their toll-free customer care service, which is available around the clock, seven days a week, at no additional cost to you. Even people who are going through a difficult emotional moment or who are experiencing thoughts of suicide are invited to come and talk about their experiences even if they are considering ending their own lives.

Anyone who is having thoughts of suicide or is experiencing mental distress has the option of calling Lifeline at any time of the day or night in order to seek support while maintaining their anonymity. This service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This service can be accessed at any time, day or night, seven days per week. In any situation in which there is a genuine possibility that a person’s life could be in danger, it is important that the emergency number 911 be dialed as promptly as humanly feasible.
