Tia Gorrell Death – Tia Gorrell of Houma, Louisiana, passed away unexpectedly, according to her loved ones. Danisha Williams of Houma, Louisiana, wrote on Facebook that she could not bring herself to post because she would have to accept something that does not even feel real. Danisha said Tia was the first person to welcome her with open arms when she made sweethearts.
Danisha said Tia continued to check on her and make her laugh everytime they were together. Tia was a great role model to her and treated her as a little sister. “It was a blessing to know you and be in your presence. You’ve touched everyone you’ve ever come in contact with in a very special way, your energy was contagious. I will forever cherish the time I’ve had with you,” Danisha Williams wrote.
There are reports that Tia Gorrell had been involved in a car accident that happened in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she sustained life-threatening injuries. And was later pronounced dead.

Sunday afternoon on Louisiana Highway 57 in Terrebonne Parish, according to authorities, two persons were killed and two others were critically injured. Houma, Louisiana, residents Craig Boudreaux, 50, and Cookie Boudreaux, 49, were killed in a car accident near Dream Court shortly after 4 p.m., according to the Louisiana State Police.
Houma resident Jorge Hernandez, 60, was driving a 2005 Mitsubishi Outlander northbound on LA Highway 57 when “for reasons still under investigation” the SUV crossed the center line and collided with Boudreaux’s 2002 Chevrolet Silverado traveling in the opposite direction.
Craig and Cookie Boudreaux both sustained fatal injuries in the collision and were pronounced dead at the site. Hernandez and his passenger sustained severe injuries and were transported to a hospital in the New Orleans area for treatment.
The state authorities report that all passengers were wearing seatbelts. Both drivers provided toxicology samples for analysis. The cause of the accident is still being investigated.
