Taylors Lakes Stabbing; Elijah Agua killed, 2 others injured

A 17-year-old CRC student was reportedly run over then stabbed while one of the victims had been shot.

UPDATE: Witnesses have recounted terrifying events in a peaceful neighborhood following the reported intentional hitting and death of a teenage boy by a car overnight in Melbourne. After 16-year-old Elijah Agua was hurt and passed away on the street in Taylors Lakes, in Melbourne’s northwest, police opened a homicide inquiry.

Investigators think Elijah was intentionally hit by a car as he crossed a street with some teenagers. Around seven o’clock at night, according to the police, the group was being targeted as they crossed Chichester Drive when the automobile struck and killed three of the youths in the group before driving away.

The boy passed away at the scene after paramedics were summoned to Chichester Drive in Taylors Lakes, in the northwest of the city. Two other boys, ages 15 and 16 from Keilor Downs and Melton, were admitted to the hospital with non-life-threatening wounds.

Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit and the Homicide Squad are attempting to determine the precise facts surrounding the occurrence.
