Gwinnett County Police investigating after man fled in vehicle after allegedly firing shots at the formerly known Discover Mills after Saturday
Sugarloaf Mills Shooting Investigations – Law enforcement agencies in Gwinnett County, Georgia are responding to shooting reports at the Sugarloaf Mills Mall on Saturday. Authorities have been called to the scene of an incident at the Sugarloaf Mills Mall located in the area of 5900 Sugarloaf Pkwy, Lawrenceville, GA. According to reports, the mall has been placed on a mandatory shelter-in-place as law enforcement agencies respond to investigations.
Shoppers who fled the scene narrated that a male fired multiple shots inside the mall before fleeing in a vehicle. Multiple departments are currently working to identify the suspect involved. There is no victim confirmation at the time of this publication. Law enforcement agencies who responded to the scene did not confirm the incident to be an active shooter event.
