State Fair Shooting SC; Shots reportedly fired, police investigations underway

UPDATE: Following a shooting that occurred in the afternoon, the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is conducting an investigation into the incident. The incident took place at the 4600 block of Hwy 321, where shots were fired. A hospital is currently providing medical care for three patients who have been injured.

It is believed by the deputies that this was a unique incident, and all of the individuals involved know one other.

State Fair Shooting SC – There are reports of shooting in South Carolina State Fair, Columbia. The State Agricultural and Mechanical Society of South Carolina is in charge of organizing and running the South Carolina State Fair, which takes place every year in Columbia, South Carolina, and lasts for a total of twelve days.

Police were called to the scene and are yet to released any information at the time of this publication. According to the information gathered on social media, the gates were closed and over 500 people were turned away.
