Paarl Shooting – On Monday, August 7, 2023, news reached the public a shooting incident in Paarl, South Africa. According to sources, the shooting incident happened in Kraaifontein Wellington. All resident of Paarl and Wellington are advised to remain indoors at this time. Shops and businesses owners are advised to be careful and watch their kids. NO deaths have been confirmed at this time however some children were injured.
“They started burning and shooting around schools in Paarl. Parents are getting their kids from school.” reports confirmed

Stones were thrown at a car that had four people in it, including two children, and the family living in the area around Crossroads requested that the police accompany them. A youngster sustained an injury during the incident. In order to protect the injured youngster from being identified, the faces of the adults have been obscured.
On the Airport Approach road, there is a body lying about. A motorist is said to have reacted after being pelted with stones, as reported by the police. The motorist fired many rounds, resulting in the death of one person and the injury of three others. We are unable to validate the claims made in a video that has gone viral on social media despite its purported depiction of the occurrence.
