Shawn McHugh Sicklerville, NJ, died following car accident on Jan. 6

Shawn McHugh Death – Shawn McHugh of Sicklerville, New Jersey, was involved in a fatal motor vehicle accident on Saturday, January 6. McHugh was severely injured from the crash and was later pronounced dead. Over the course of his 18 years of coaching experience, Shawn McHugh has worked with both male and female high school track & field athletes. Additionally, he has twelve years of experience coaching at the college level.

Sicklerville, New Jersey’s Timber Creek High School was where he was working as a coach. Where he was the Head Coach of the boys and girls program, in addition to serving as the Assistant Jumps coach for the program. Throughout his employment, he has coached a total of thirty individual state champions and eleven teams that have won state championships. Discipline, hard effort, enthusiasm, and dedication are all things that he preaches.

There was a degree in Health and Exercise Science that Coach McHugh had earned from Rowan University. His teaching and coaching experience spanned twenty years, and he had worked in both high school and college settings.

There were eight college soccer All Americans that he coached. When it comes to high school track and field, he has coached thirty individuals who have won individual state championships in the events of high jump, long jump, triple jump, 55 meters, and 100 meters. Also included in the Sprint Medley Relays are the 4×100, 4×200, and 4×400.
