Sean Mikovitch Death – Wyoming Valley West High School Alumnus Sean Mikovitch of Old Forge, Pennsylvania has sadly passed away. He died leaving family and friends devastated. He was confirmed dead on Wednesday 6th December 2023 through a post that says “Sean Mikovitch Nah fr this was my guy fr he use to call me everyday or week since we got outta high school! I can’t even process this I was just talking to him like yesterday our memories from back in the days will never be forgotten”. The cause of his death has not been released.

Who was Sean Mikovitch?

On the football field, Sean Mikovitch, who graduated from Wyoming Valley West High School in 2018, made an unforgettable impression as the number 23 player. Not only did Sean demonstrate his athletic talent, but he also displayed a great attitude of teamwork and dedication. Sean was born in Dallas and raised in Swoyersville, Pennsylvania. The character he possesses was influenced by his roots in these areas. In addition to the confines of the athletic arena, Sean discovered comfort in the embrace of the wide outdoors.

He had a profound connection with the natural world, as evidenced by the fact that his interests included wakesurfing, fishing, and hunting. The laughing that Sean offered was contagious, and it was difficult for others to refrain from joining in. The incredible sense of humor that he possessed ended up being a guiding light that was able to illuminate even the most gloomy of days.

Sean leaves behind his mother Melissa and partner Brad Evans, his father John and stepmother Melissa Mikovitch, his brother Connor, his siblings Augustus, Haydn, and Abigail, his grandparents John B. and Gyl Mikovitch of Duryea and Mark Sniscak of Nesquehoning, his nephew Julian and niece Aurora, his partner Bria Barcola, and sons Cooper and Stone, as well as numerous other family members. His nana, Nancy Sniscak, and his grandfather, Leonard Fredericks, both predeceased him.

Those who had the good fortune to share a smile with Sean were left with a lasting mark on their hearts as a result of his wit and laughter during times of shared joy. A funeral mass will be held on December 16, 2023, at 10a.m. at Prince of Peace Parish, 123 W. Grace St., Old Forge, PA.
