Scott DeMariano Death – United States Secret Service Special Agent Scott DeMariano of Columbus, Ohio has sadly passed away. He died on Sunday 7th January 2024 leaving those that knew him devastated. Scott DeMariano attended The Ohio State University where he earned a Bachelor’s degree Criminology in 1999. More than twenty-three years of Scott’s life were spent serving the United States Secret Service family. After beginning his career as a Uniformed Division Officer, he finally obtained the rank of Special Agent in the United States Department of Defense. Throughout the course of his distinguished career, Scott worked in a variety of capacities, making contributions to the Cincinnati Field Office, the Protective Intelligence and Assessment Division, the James J. Rowley Training Center, and the Columbus Resident Office.
He was an invaluable addition to the agency because of his decades-long devotion to its purpose, his resilience under duress, and his leadership and mentoring efforts. Heroes like Scott DeMariano show us that being devoted was more than a job; it’s a way of life, and they are an inspiration as the US Secret Service carries on its important mission.
It was safe to say that Special Agent DeMariano’s legacy will encourage Secret Service agents of the future to continue serving their country with the utmost honor and dedication. Scott’s survival includes his wife Meghan, their two children, Jack (15) and Gabrielle (9), as well as his mother, Mrs. Millie DeMariano, remember him with affection.
