Ryan Stroud Death – Wightman & Associates, Inc. Civil Engineer of Hartford, Michigan has died. He passed away after a tragic accident on Saturday 21st October 2023 leaving those that knew him heartbroken. He was confirmed dead through a Facebook post that says “It is with the heaviest hearts that we share our beloved brother Ryan was suddenly and tragically taken from us early Saturday morning in an accident”. further information regarding the accident has not been released.
Ryan Stroud Education
Ryan Stroud completed his studies at Kalamazoo Valley Community College from 2003 to 2005, obtaining a Universal certification enabling him to proficiently handle a diverse range of refrigeration systems, residential and commercial heating and boiler systems, and geothermal closed and open looped systems. Subsequently, between 2010 and 2013, he pursued his education at Western Michigan University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
During his professional journey, Ryan worked as an HVAC/R Technician at Teed Heating & Cooling from 2004 to 2005. Following this, he transitioned to the role of Carpenter at Fulton Custom Homes, contributing his expertise for a duration of 8 years, from 2005 to 2013. He was calm and welcoming and was very generous to everyone including strangers. He will be deeply missed by all.

Ryan Stroud Career
During this tenure, he actively participated in the construction of various custom homes, honing his skills in construction management, scheduling, estimating, and gaining valuable insights into a contractor’s perspective on projects. Ryan’s responsibilities during this period included the installation of heating and air-conditioning systems, siding and exterior trim installation, hardwood flooring installation, and interior trim and intricate woodwork installation. His career progressed further as he assumed the role of a Civil Engineer at Wightman & Associates, Inc. for 7 years, commencing from May 2013 to April 2020.
During this time, he served as a Project Engineer and Project Manager, handling diverse projects such as Local and State Road Reconstruction, Developments including Industrial, Commercial, and Residential projects, and Asset Management Planning. He was an hardworking and dedicated man that was loved by all that crossed path with him.
