Rosella Turnbull Death – A fatal car accident that occurred on Thursday evening in St. Lawrence County claimed the life of a woman from Ogdensburg who was 58 years old. Rosella Turnbull, according to the state police, was a passenger in a vehicle that collided with a tree near the town of Lisbon. It was determined that she had passed away at the site.

According to the reports of the state police, the collision took place on Thursday evening at 10:30 p.m. close to the intersection of State Highway 68 and Cline Road. Police said that the driver, identified as 38-year-old William Bruyere II of Denver, Colorado, did not see a stop sign at the intersection. When he attempted to come to a stop, he lost control of the vehicle and hit a tree.

Bruyere was sent to the Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center for treatment of injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening. At the incident, assistance was provided by the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department, the Heuvelton Fire and Rescue Department, and the Lisbon Fire and Rescue Department.
