Ridgefield CT Suicide Today – The Ridgefield High School superintendent released a statement today, Monday, the 30th of October 2023 after a student allegedly died by suicide. A Ridgefield High School student passed away in Ridgefield, Connecticut early Monday morning, school officials said in a statement on Oct. 30.

“The loss for our students’ family and friends is one that is unimaginable, and we offer them our prayers and unconditional love and attention,” Superintendent Susie Da Silva said in a message to the school community. “Out of respect for the family, we will wait to share further information.”

In the statement, she wrote Ridgefield Public Schools counselors and local and regional organizations who specialize in grief and crises counseling will be available for students.
