Rhonda Aebersold Death – Meade County High School Alumna Rhonda Aebersold of Brandenburg, Kentucky has sadly passed away at the age of 48. She died on Monday 5th 2023 leaving those that knew her devastated. She was a loving and caring mother and grandma that had a great sense of humor. She was a source of happiness to her family and those close to her. Rhonda Aebersold, born on June 18th, 1974 in Louisville, KY, was the daughter of late Ronald Dwight Aebersold and Shirley Sue Sawyers Aebersold.
Rhonda Aebersold Education and Career
Rhonda graduated from Meade County High School and Spencerian College. Throughout her life, Rhonda was a devoted member of Brandenburg United Methodist Church. During her professional career, she worked as a medical assistant at Kentuckiana Rheumatology, where she was known for her helpful and patient demeanor. Rhonda’s legacy will be remembered not only for her professional accomplishments but also for the way she lived her life outside of work. She was always a generous and caring person who loved spending time with her friends and family.
In particular, Rhonda was a devoted MiMi to her three granddaughters. She spent countless hours cooking, doing crafts, and gardening with them, always with a smile on her face and a gentle demeanor. Rhonda Aebersold was a kind and friendly person who touched the lives of many people around her. Her selflessness and generosity will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter Shelbi Humphrey (CJ) Saylor and their children Addison Hadley and Brinlee Saylors of Brandenburg, KY; brother, Doug (Ilene) Aebersold of Brandenburg; nieces, Megan (Brad) Sonner and Molly Aebersold; nephews, Cole (Bliss) Aebersold and Kurt Aebersold; best friends, Katie Hardesty and Patricia Downs and aunts, uncles and several cousins. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 12 Noon at the Brandenburg United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Eastlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, June 12 form 2-8 P.M. EDT and Tuesday from 9 A.M until the time of the service at the Brandenburg United Methodist Church.
