Rapper Jackboy seriously hurt after targeted shooting in Tradition, Port St. Lucie, Florida

Rapper Jackboy Death – A Popular Florida rapper has been hospitalized following a targeted shooting early Wednesday. According to reports, Rapper Jackboy was shot multiple times by a subject outside his Port St. Lucie home. The incident happened early Wednesday morning, Dec. 13, 2023.

Multiple law enforcement agencies were called to the scene of a shooting in the Traditional neighborhood of Port St. Lucie. Arriving officers located the rapper suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was airlifted to Lawnwood Hospital in critical condition. Rapper Jackboy’s hit song GATTI featured Pop Smoke, Travis Scott.

According to the police, the gunman approached the rapper in his driveway, shot him multiple times, and then drove off. He was transported by air to HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in critical condition. About a mile and a half from the community, Tradition Preparatory High School was temporarily placed under code red lockdown on Wednesday morning. However according to a front desk employee, the lockdown was removed at 8:15 a.m., and classes are now going on as usual.

Port St. Lucie Police Department: PSLPD Investigating Early Morning Shooting, On 12/13/23 at about 0657 hours, PSLPD responded to the 11000 block of SW Stockton Pl. for a shooting. Preliminary investigation revealed that a young adult male was in his driveway when the suspect approached him and shot him several times.

The suspect fled in an unknown make/model vehicle. The victim was airlifted to Lawnwood Hospital in serious condition. This appears to be a targeted attack and there is no immediate threat to the surrounding community.
Please avoid the area as there is a heavy police presence.
