Rachel Morin Death: Richard Tobin charged in Bel Air missing woman’s case; GoFundMe

Rachel Morin’s Death – A woman has passed away following a tragic assault in Bel Air. 37-year-old Rachel Morin died after she was assaulted by her partner who reportedly has a criminal background. Richard Tobin has been charged with murder after the missing mother was located dead with apparent head trauma inside a cove.

The family created a GoFundMe Account to help raise funds for her funeral. “It is with devastating sadness and a broken heart that our family has been hit with yet another heartbreak. My sister, Rachel Morin went missing on Saturday, August 5 2023 around 6 pm. In less than 24 hours her body was found by local law enforcement. I have made a GoFundMe to help my mother, Patty Morin with funeral costs. There was no life insurance in place.”

This was not an accidental death, and she did not go willingly and she deserves a funeral worthy of her her beauty. If there are any remaining funds they will go towards things her 5 children may need. Please share, donate, comment, and keep this going. I raised the goal as we would like to do a large celebration of life for Rachel. We had no idea the number of people she touched, even in just her everyday life. We want all those who loved her to grieve with us and celebrate her life. We would also like to raise enough to get a headstone that is fitting for her and we did not take into account the fees. We appreciate all those who have shared, donated, and thoughtful words.

Harford County Sheriff’s Office; At approximately 1:07 pm, a female was located deceased off of the Ma and Pa Trail in Bel Air. The identity of the victim, as well as the cause, and manner of death are still under investigation. Update: Rachel’s car was located at the Williams Street entrance in Bel Air. If you are walking the trail this morning and see anything suspicious, please call 911. Please help us locate Rachel Morin, age 37. Rachel was last seen around 6:00 pm on Saturday, August 5, 2023, when she left to walk on the Ma and Pa Trail in Bel Air.
