Prattville Walmart Shooting: Man hurt, woman arrested after domestic altercation escalates to gunfire

Prattville Walmart Shooting Investigations – Multiple law enforcement agencies are investigating a shooting incident outside the Prattville Walmart on Sunday. According to reports, an adult male has been critically injured after a domestic altercation escalated to multiple shots fired. According to reports, officers with the Prattville Police Department and Prattville Fire Department were called to the Walmart store on Cobbs Ford Rd.

Arriving officers located a male suffering from an apparent gunshot injuries at the scene. The incident happened at approximately 7:40 P.M., Sunday, October 21, 2023. According to Chief Thompson, a female has been detained in connection to the incident. “We do have a female detained at this time we are questioning, but we are just beginning the investigation.”

According to the investigators,. the victim is in a critical but stable condition. The identity of the victim and suspect was not immediately released by the law enforcement agencies. This is a developing story.
