Simon Weatherill Death – Simon Weatherill, the former head of the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre has tragically passed away. Simon Weatherill was announced dead today, Saturday, the 20th of January 2024. He died after having what is believed to be a heart attack while competing in the Portsea Swim Classic. Weatherill was greatly admired for his athletic abilities. Thoughts and prayers are with his family and the Melbourne Sports community during this difficult time.
