According to the police, Barry Burrows was taken into custody on Wednesday in connection with a hit-and-run crash that resulted in the death of a 64-year-old motorcyclist in Plaistow.

The driver of the pickup truck that hit Lory Beck of Epping was identified as being Barry Burrows of Kingston, according to the police in Plaistow. According to the Plaistow police, Beck was transported to Lawrence General Hospital, which is where she ultimately passed away. Jay Gordon, a long-time resident of Plaistow’s Main Street, stated that accident is inevitable after the Plaistow motorcycle crash. “Accidents all the time. All the time. You could see the motorcyclist coming down Main Street in Plaistow. And then the truck just pulled out in front and there was a collision. It was terrible. This stuff happens a lot here. I have been trying to get a light there, something, just a flashy light, just to slow down traffic a bit.” Gordon said.
