Barry Burrows arrested after hit-and-run motorcycle accident in Plaistow – Following the hit-and-run two vehicle collision that happened on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, a 78-year-old man has been taken into custody by the officials that are currently investigating the accident. According to the police, Barry Burrows was taken into custody on Wednesday in connection with a hit-and-run crash that resulted in the death of a 64-year-old motorcyclist in Plaistow.

The driver of the pickup truck that hit Lory Beck of Epping was identified as being Barry Burrows of Kingston, according to the police in Plaistow. They said that witnesses stated that the truck that hit the motorcyclist drove away from the area at approximately 3:35 in the afternoon. The intersection of Main Street and Westville Road was shut down as the police investigated the collision.

According to the Plaistow police, Beck was transported to Lawrence General Hospital, which is where she ultimately passed away. Gordon remarked that it was possible to see the biker making his way along Main Street in Plaistow. After then, the truck suddenly pulled out in front of them, which led to a crash.

It was a horrible experience. When his neighbor Craig heard the crash, he ran out into the yard as quickly as he could. At this time, Mr. Burrows is being held at the Rockingham County Jail on preventative detention. The investigation into the event is still ongoing, and the police in Plaistow are asking anyone who may have information to contact them.

Jay Gordon, a long-time resident of Plaistow’s Main Street, stated that accident is inevitable after the Plaistow motorcycle crash. “Accidents all the time. All the time. You could see the motorcyclist coming down Main Street in Plaistow. And then the truck just pulled out in front and there was a collision. It was terrible. This stuff happens a lot here. I have been trying to get a light there, something, just a flashy light, just to slow down traffic a bit.” Gordon said.
