Perron Thurston Death – Perron Thurston has passed away suddenly. He was confirmed dead on Tuesday, August 15, 2023. He died at the age of 50, leaving the hearts of many scarred after learning of his sudden loss. He will always be missed by all those who knew him during the course of his life.

Omega Psi Phi loved Perron. Fraternity brothers were everything to him. Former BMX Museum moderator and active participant Perron. He joined Streets Are Calling, 44T, and Kings and Queens bicycle groups. Perron enjoyed biking and shared his enthusiasm.

He learned to play ice hockey at 40 and liked playing in neighborhood leagues. He founded the Crosstown Classic ride and participated in numerous local Critical Mass rides. Perron proudly supported The Base Chicago, Equiticity, Friends of the Big Marsh, and Inner-City Education Program. He was a mentor, teacher, and friend to many.

On Tuesday, the body of a guy who had been shot to death was discovered in the area of Washington Heights. Antoine Nichols, 52, was discovered by officers at around 6:40 p.m. on a sidewalk in the 9000 block of South Morgan Street in Chicago with several gunshot wounds to his torso, according to the Chicago police department and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

It was determined that he had passed away at the site. There were no reports of any arrests being made, and there was no more information available.
