Pato Gonzalez Death Ithaca – A mother has been accused of killing her 14-year-old son, who suffered from Down syndrome. The victim has been identified as Pato Gonzalez of Ithaca, New York. According to reports, 14-year-old Pato Gonzalez also known to many as Patricio Gonzalez was found unresponsive in their Ithaca home.
A tragic incident unfolded as a 14-year-old boy lost his life, while his mother remained in a coma following an asphyxiation event in their home. According to the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Department, Menequi-ta Gonzalez is suspected of attempting suicide, while her son, Patricio “Pato” Gonzalez, might have been either the victim of homicide or also involved in a suicide attempt.
No charges have been filed as of now. Menequi-ta Gonzalez, aged 46, was reported to be in critical condition at Cayuga Medical Center. The distressing discovery was made by Ruben Gonzalez, who found his wife and son unresponsive with plastic bags over their heads upon returning to their Ithaca residence late Thursday.
Pato Gonzalez obituary and funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date by the family.
