Pacifica Stabbing: 1 died, manhunt for murder suspect near Vallemar School in Pacifica, CA

Pacifica Stabbing Investigations – On Thursday morning, law enforcement personnel were stationed at the location of a suspected homicide in a Pacifica community; the search for the suspect at Vallemar Elementary School led to the implementation of a lockdown.

Officers and crime scene investigators were observed in the vicinity of the 200 block of Naomi Avenue, near Reina Del Mar Avenue, where a cadaver was discovered in the driveway of a residence covered with a yellow tarp. A forensic laboratory van and a coroner’s van from San Mateo County were parked outside the residence.

At approximately 9:00 a.m., the Pacifica School District issued the following statement: “As an extra precaution, the Pacifica Police Department has placed the Pacific School District Office and Vallemar Elementary School on lockdown.”

Residents of Vallemar were advised in a statement by the Pacifica Police Department to abstain from the area in light of an ongoing investigation. Furthermore, the police declared that the suspect’s presence in the area was no longer improbable and that there was no immediate threat to the public.
