About Nydia Leger

Nydia Leger instructed students in Grades 9 and 10. She was a loving wife to Tyler, a loving mother to Arianna, and a dedicated teacher in the Gardner and Fitchburg school systems.

On her prominent educational journey, she was fortunate to be supported by her loving husband and daughter. She began her first year as an English Language Arts teacher for seventh grade as the new school year approached.

She and her family are big fans of New England sports and college football. Sports events, trips to Maine, swimming, spending time with family and friends, and traveling are some of their favorite activities.

Nydia has a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She realized she wasn’t cut out for business as she worked in it. Although it was natural for her to provide excellent customer service and interact professionally with colleagues and customers, she felt as if something was missing.

She took advantage of a special education office opening in a school district. She was inspired after four years of working in education, interacting with incredible educators, and learning about all aspects of what happens in a school. Nydia considered her options and, with the help of her husband and daughter, began studying for her MTELs. Nydia has a provisional English 5-8 license.

Obituary and Funeral arrangements for Nydia Leger have not been made by the family.
