Nottingham Stabbing Today – Numerous police officers are on the scene of an incident in Nottingham’s downtown. A police cordon has been placed on Cheapside, off Old Market Square, and emergency services are present. At least five police cars and an ambulance are seen parked nearby in pictures taken at 1:00 pm. Police have also blocked off Exchange Walk. There is speculation that a stabbing took place, meanwhile, police are yet to confirm the rumors.

Due to the police encounter, NET Trams reported that there was no service operating between Nottingham Station and Old Market Square. “Due to a police incident we have no service between Old Market Square and Nottingham Station. NCT Green Line buses are accepting our tickets.”
