In two different occurrences that took place within 750 meters of one another in the same neighborhood, two males were found dead. Early on Friday morning, 17th of September 2022, a man who was 25 years old and originally from Springvale was discovered at a residence in Noble Park with life-threatening injuries. Although rescuers attempted to save the man’s life, he passed away at the scene of the accident. On Friday, a guy in his 30s who did not have a permanent address was taken into custody and eventually charged with murder.
After receiving complaints of an assault at approximately one in the morning, emergency personnel were dispatched to a location in Lesley Grove. Before the Springvale man was allegedly stabbed in the chest, it is believed that a group of people were drinking and partying at the sharing house, which led to a dispute breaking out. A man from Officer, California, aged 24, who assisted the police with their investigation was not placed under arrest. The investigation has led investigators to think that the persons involved knew each other.
In a second instance, the police arrived at about 5 o’clock on Saturday morning at a residence located on Henry Street in Noble Park to learn that another individual had passed away there. The location of the man’s death has been designated as a crime scene, and police are conducting an investigation into the events leading up to his passing. Even though this location is only about a kilometer away from where the first incident took place, there is no evidence to imply that the two incidents are connected.
