She was announced dead through a social media publication made on Saturday, August 5th, 2023, that says “RIP Nicole McIntyre. She was an Editor and Reporter at Emerge magazine in 2017 at the University of Guelph-Humber and was also an Editorial intern at the Glow magazine, St. Joseph Media in Toronto. She also worked at Brampton Golf Club in Brampton, Ontario.
