What was Nick Grady’s cause of death?

Four people were shot following a “physical disturbance” outside a gas station off Interstate-95 in Eastover, Cumberland County on July 22, 2023, although just one person died as a result, according to officials. According to a press release from the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, the incident—the first of two fatal shootings in the county on Saturday—was reported shortly after 12:50 p.m. at 4001 Pembroke Lane close to Eastover. The location is a BP gas station with a Dairy Queen near the I-95 exit for U.S. 13/Goldsboro Road.

In the initial contact, there was a “physical disturbance,” according to the news release. Four persons were shot as a result of the incident, according to deputies’ news release. The four victims of gunfire were transferred to adjacent hospitals, where one man eventually passed away, according to deputies. He was recognized as Nicholas Tavel Grady, a 40-year-old Fayetteville resident.
