Nibroc Shooting Investigations – Law enforcement agencies in Corbin, Kentucky are responding to a report of an active shooter at the in Corbin Friday night. According to law enforcement agencies, an employee called 911 and reported an active shooter in the vicinity. Law enforcement agencies responded and determined that they are no active shooter at the location.
Parkgoers say a fight between two teenagers escalated to weapon brandishing, causing everyone at the location to run for safety. The park was evaluated by responding law enforcement agencies. Locals reported hearing shots fired at the location after the fight broke out. According to reports, visitors fled the scene as multiple officers arrived the location for investigations.
Corbin Police Department – Please be aware that tonight at NIBROC a carnival employee called out “shots fired” causing the people in the area to panic and flee the scene. There were NO SHOTS FIRED AT NIBROC TONIGHT. The employee has been taken into custody without incident.
