NC State Death: North Carolina State University student and Theta Chi fraternity member found dead at home on Dixie Trail

North Carolina State University Suicide Investigations: A North Carolina State University student and member of the Theta Chi fraternity was found dead Thursday. According to reports, the North Carolina State University student died inside a home on Dixie Trail near Everette Avenue. The body was located around 6:30 P.M.

Law enforcement agencies were called to the scene for a report of an unresponsive individual. Arriving law enforcement agencies located the individual with a pulse inside a home. The subject was pronounced dead at approximately 6:35 P.M. Law enforcement agencies did not release the identity of the individual involved.

The student community identified the student as an athletic student of the North Carolina State University and a Theta Chi fraternity member. An anonymous source alleged the student died from an apparent suicide by drug overdose. This is a developing story.
