Navy Yard Shooting: 1 hurt, manhunt for carjacking suspects in stolen vehicle, Washington, D.C

Navy Yard Shooting Investigations – Law enforcement agencies are investigating a drive-by shooting incident at the Navy Yard in Washington, DC Thursday. According to reports, D.C. Police were called to the scene of a shooting at 1300 Half St SW. According to the Navy Yard Crime X page, a lookout has been imposed in the vicinity following the incident.
Preliminary investigations determined that a suspect in a White Jeep Grand Cherokee, “2016-2020, white rims, tinted windows” fired multiple shots at the vicinity before driving off. The suspects were identified as three black males wearing all black and armed with a handgun.
According to D.C. Police, the suspects carjacked the vehicle bearing a MARYLAND TAGS: 2FD 0820. The vehicle was followed by a dark-colored sedan possibly a Honda. The vehicle was last seen on the northbound side of Missouri Avenue N.W.
