Nathan Wise Missing – Nathan, is a 37-year-old man who was born with Down syndrome. He was reported missing after he was last seen on Friday night. After the passing of his parent, Nathan decided to travel from Kitchener to Toronto so that he could be closer to his sister when he went missing. It is suspected that he is making his way back to the Kitchener-Waterloo region at this time. On Wednesday, he was seen near Puslinch, and on Thursday, there was a possible sighting of him in the southern part of Guelph.
However, neither of these reports can be verified. It is thought that he is travelling on foot and by himself. Please contact the authorities, send us a private message, or provide us with information if you see him. Any new information will be posted on the Facebook group that has been established to find Nathan.
The widespread search for Nathan that was being conducted by the Toronto Police Department has been called off, and as a result, the Search for Nathan group—which includes Nathan’s family, friends, and even strangers—has begun responding to sightings and organizing their searches.
Please keep in mind that Nathan is an intelligent man. Don’t fall into incorrect stereotypes about Down syndrome. He is smart and on the move. If these sightings are correct, he has made it to Guelph on his own by foot – without money or a cell phone. He has also successfully navigated all that way in the correct direction. It is assumed he is trying to get home to Kitchener. If Nathan is seen, you must contact the Police as soon as possible and update the Search for Nathan group so that someone can get there as quickly as possible.
