Nampa Idaho Shooting Today – On Wednesday, August 16, 2023, there were reports of a shooting incident near Marketplace and Midland. According to reports, she was an officer involved shooting, one person is dead, officers are uninjured. An inquiry has been launched, with the Critical Incident Task Force having been established to do so.

There has been recent police activity in the vicinity of Marketplace and Midland. At this time, some of the region’s roads are closed, and traffic is being rerouted. This is the sixth shooting that has taken place in the Treasure Valley in 2018. At this moment, there is no danger to the general population. The Nampa Police Department recommends avoiding the area.
