Murder Suicide Modesto: Cory Rife and Steven Whiteside found dead at Stanislaus County property

Murder Suicide Modesto – The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office announced on Monday that they are conducting an investigation into two deaths that occurred close to Modesto, California. Both a man and a woman were discovered dead on the evening of Sunday, January 7th, 2024, close to Hart Road, which is located to the northwest of Modesto. In light of the fact that the two individuals had not been heard from for a few days, deputies were dispatched to do a security check on them.

Two victims were discovered dead by the deputies when they arrived. Based on the information provided by the sheriff’s office, the death is being investigated as a suspicious death. A 42-year-old man named Cory Rife from Waterford and a 46-year-old man named Steven Whiteside from Modesto have been identified as the individuals involved, according to the sheriff’s office. It is not obvious what the relationship is between the two individuals.
