Moraga Murder-Suicide; Brad Triebsch & wife found dead in Southard Court

Brad Triebsch Death – Authorities reported Thursday that a man and a woman were found fatally shot inside their residence on Wednesday. Police are investigating the deaths as a possible homicide and suicide. The remains were discovered within a residence located on Southard Court on Wednesday at 4:40 p.m.

In a news release, Moraga police chief Jon King stated that authorities were contacted regarding a welfare check at the residence. The caller reported that they were unable to reach their parents, who were residents of the area. When officers arrived at the residence, they were greeted by a neighbor who expressed concern for the well-being of the residents and stated that he had been unable to reach them.

King stated that upon entering the residence and conducting a search, police discovered two individuals—a male and a woman in their late 50s—who had been fatally shot. Loved ones had identified them as Brad Triebsch of Moraga and his wife.

King stated that the deaths were being investigated as a murder and suicide, based on the evidence found at the crime site.
