Rodriquez “Young Capone” Smith was a rapper, record producer, and film director who was born and raised in Atlanta. A cause oof death has not been confirmed at the time of this publication.
He was also the chief executive officer of his own record label, Topshelf/1UP Music, in addition to being signed to So So Def Records. His debut single, “I’m Hot,” which featured Daz Dillinger, was included on the compilation album “Young, Fly & Flashy” produced by Jermaine Dupri.

On Thursday morning, a body was discovered floating in the Chicago River in the vicinity of River North. According to an email sent out by police spokeswoman Kellie Bartoli, someone spotted the body at eight in the morning and led officials to the 400 block of East River Drive, which is located between Columbus Drive and Lake Shore Drive.
