A report came into the Isanti County Sheriff’s Office on Monday, August 7th, 2023, around 6:20 PM, detailing the discovery of a deceased individual on a property located in the 6200 block of 300th Ave NE in North Branch Township.

The site of the finding was close to where David, an individual reported missing on August 3rd, 2023, was last known to have been. Responding Isanti County deputies reached the scene and were guided to a tree situated near a cornfield. There, they confirmed the unfortunate passing of David. Adjacent to his body, a firearm was retrieved.

The investigation is presently ongoing, with no indications of any foul play. The incident poses no immediate threat to the public. The deceased, David, has been transported to the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office for further examination.
